Air Puppies?

My brother goes to my mom one day holding his hands into a cup, but there was nothing in his hands. Mom asked him what it was and Nate said "I got a puppy!!" Then when my dad comes home, he gets an empty box. When my brother came outside, he saw the box, and he opened it. He reached in to it and when he pulled his out, he said " Another puppy!!" He did that over and over again all day yesterday. Well, today we went outside and I said "I think you should let the puppy go." and he said "NO!!!!!" and he threw himself on the floor and started crying. My brother is so funny and weird.

I also like Mini clip.com It doesn't have as many games as one more level, but it still is a fun site to go to.

Time Traveler

My Mimi and I made this. We were just sitting around one day and we started writing a book. The next day we got into it and it became a short book

THE TIME TRAVELER
Chapter 1
It was a dark and gloomy day.   A man named Shawn Jones went out to get his mail.    He pulled the mail out of the mailbox, and thumbed through the various letters and junk mail.   Then, wait, something caught his eye…it was a brochure with amazing scenery of dolphins swimming in a bright blue ocean below a cloudless sky.  Above this eye-catching view of the ocean were these few words:  Sunny Falls Beach, a land of mythical wonders.  He paused for a moment wondering what it would be like to go to such an exciting destination.   “I have to go there,” he said to himself.

Chapter 2
The next day, he packed his bags and loaded them into his 2010 yellow and black Camaro.  He could not wait to get to Sunny Falls Beach.   He wondered what mythical wonders awaited him.    Could it be giant seagulls?  Could it be pirates?   He did not know what would meet him, but he was locked in a daydream of anticipation.  When he came back to reality a few minutes later, he saw a wall with a door.  Was it a store?  No, it was a house.  “We’re going to crash!” he said.

Chapter 3
He looked down at the steering wheel in his hands, and he veered hard to the left.  “Whew,” he sighed in relief, only to find a steep cliff just 12 yards away.  The Camaro became airborne as he drove over the edge of the cliff.   The car flipped upside down, and the force of the impact drove his car into the river below.  He blacked out just seconds later.   The current of the river carried his damaged car for miles until it came to an abrupt stop.  He looked up and saw a sign that said, “Welcome to Sunny Falls Beach.”   “Am I dreaming?  Is this real?” he pondered.

Chapter 4

Slowly he crawled out of the crushed vehicle onto the beach.   He felt a sharp pain jolting up his left leg, and he fell to his knees.  As he looked at his leg he saw blood dripping down.  He ripped off his shirt and formed a tourniquet to slow the bleeding.   He pulled himself back to his feet and walked slowly to the Sunny Beach Hotel.   When he walked in he saw a man with a nametag that said “Hi, I’m Jeff.”
Jeff said, “Ah, you must be the new recruit.  We’ve been waiting for you.  Follow me.”
“New recruit?” a puzzled Shawn inquired.
Jeff said, “Why, yes.  Welcome to the University of Time Travel.”
“I just came to see the dolphins at Sunny Falls Beach.  What is this Time Travel you speak of?”
“In due time, you will see, Mr. Jones.  The time for you to know has not come.  You must be patient.”
Chapter 5
Fear gripped Shawn as he heard these words.   The pain in his leg was becoming unbearable.  “Can you direct me to a doctor?” Shawn asked.
“Come with me,” said Jeff.  “I have just the person for you.”
Shawn followed Jeff down the long hallway to the medic’s office.   Stretched out on the doctor’s examining table, the doctor pulled a jagged piece of metal from Shawn’s kneecap and bandaged it up.  The pain subsided almost immediately.     Feeling much better, Shawn and Jeff proceeded to the time travel room.  There stood a giant portal with white and purple swirls.
“What’s this?” Shawn asked.
“Step through the portal and you will see,” Jeff instructed.
Fearing the worst, Shawn bolted for the door.  Jeff slammed the door before Shawn could reach it.  “You must enter the portal,” Jeff demanded.  Still, Shawn refused.
Jeff pushed Shawn into the portal.  Shawn’s life passed before his eyes.

Chapter 6
When he reached the other side of the portal, he saw an old man with gray hair and wrinkled skin.  “Hi, I’m Shawn. What’s your name?” Shawn asked the old man.
“You aren’t going to believe this,” the old man said, “but I am you 50 years into the future.”
Shawn stumbled back as heard these words, and fell to the ground.  Staring at the old man, Shawn sputtered, “but…but how can this b-b-be?  I’m only 21!”
“But you have entered the Time Travel future of Sunny Falls Beach.  Here, take this wristwatch.  It will allow you to travel to past, present, and future,” said the old man.
So Shawn put the wristwatch on his arm and turned it back to the past.  He disappeared in a flash.
Chapter 7
He appeared on a boat, wearing a three-pointed hat, a satchel, and breeches.  Then he heard a loud boom and voices yelling.  He ran up to the top deck.  “We’re taking fire,” he heard someone else yell.  “Grab that gun and help us; don’t just stand there like a fool!”
So Shawn grabbed the gun and started to fire on the enemy.  A few shots into the battle, he felt a throbbing pain in his chest.  He fell to the deck of the ship.  “Uuugh,” he groaned.
A pirate came over to Shawn with a hammer and a chisel.  Then Shawn blacked out again.
Chapter 8
He awoke on a hammock with the sound of dolphins in the distance and creaking wood.  He arose from the hammock and started to walk toward the shack behind him.    He was greeted at the door by a crusty old man with a hook.  “G’d day, Mate!  My name is Billy.  What brings you to these parts?”
“I have to go,” said Shawn.  “I’m looking for Sunny Falls Beach where the dolphins are playing in the deep blue ocean.  I could hear them in the distance.  I have to find them.”
Shawn pulled up his sleeve to reveal his time travel wristwatch.  He pulled the time forward and disappeared.  The man with the hook yelled, “Y’all come back soon, now, ya hear?”

Chapter 9
Shawn appeared at a two-story house.  There were children playing with choo-choo trains.  He saw a young boy in the corner.   He was invisible to the children.  He moved about in silence.  The children could not hear him or see him.   One of the young boys had a strange resemblance to Shawn.  He had dark blue eyes, dimples when he smiled, and shiny white teeth.  But the sad part was that the boy had braces on his legs.  When his brothers and sisters went out to play duck-duck-goose, the young boy could only sit and watch them out the window.    He knew he had seen enough.  He wanted to help the young boy, but he was invisible.
He pulled his sleeve back and set the time on his wristwatch forward again.

Chapter 10
He appeared in a three-story house with a bunch of teens. The loud music was deafening.         The teens were partying like it was 1999.  The hair was longer and he was taller, but the eyes of the young man were still as blue and when he smiled the dimples dented his cheeks.  The resemblance was uncanny.  Who was this young man?   The boy’s identity was a mystery.  Shawn stood looking at the teens, but they did not even notice him because he was invisible to them.  Shawn tried to talk to the boys, but the music was so loud that they could not hear him.     Just then a large dog started barking and growling.  The dog pulled and pulled against the chain… and then it snapped.  The rabid dog charged at Shawn.   Shawn started to run away as fast as he could, but then he tripped on a rock and fell to the ground, hitting his head on a large rock.  It went black.

Chapter 11
It was 1984.   Shawn came to.  His head hurt, and he reached up and felt a nasty bump on his head.  He looked around and saw a house in front of him.  He walked to the front door and knocked.   No one answered.  He knocked again… louder this time.   Just then a man came around the side of the house, and said, “Can I help you?  My name is Charlie.”
Shawn said, “Can you tell me how to get to Sunny Falls Beach?”
Charlie said, “Oh, that’s easy.  You just walk three miles down this road, and turn left and go down the hill, and then turn right at the bottom of the hill, and go down the gravel road.  At the end of gravel road, there will be a mailbox.  Open the mailbox and there will be instructions on how to get to Sunny Falls Beach.”  Shawn said, “Thank you.”
So he walked three miles down the road and turned left and went down the hill.  At the bottom of the hill he turned right on the gravel road.  And then he saw it… the mailbox.
Chapter 12
Slowly Shawn opened the mailbox, and found a letter inside.  Before he could open the letter, a giant seagull swooped down and said, “I heard you are looking for Sunny Falls Beach.  I can take you there.  Hop on.”
So Shawn jumped on the seagull’s back and off they flew, above the pine trees and the magnolias, over the clouds.  Shawn looked down through the clouds and saw houses and rivers and mountains and fields.  Just then he lost his balance and fell.  He landed on a beach.  As he looked around he saw a sign that said “Sunny Falls Beach.”  He sat there and noticed the dolphins playing in the ocean in the distance.  “I finally found Sunny Falls Beach!” Shawn shouted.  After all of his adventures, he began to feel really tired.  He lay down and drifted off to sleep with the warm sand below and the sun above and the sound of dolphins in the distance.
  Chapter 13
When Shawn woke up, he realized he was standing at his mailbox in front of his house, looking at the brochure of Sunny Falls Beach.  He closed the mailbox.  Just then his neighbors came walking down the street.  “Hi Shawn!  How’s it going?”
Shawn said, “Hi Jeff!  It’s nice to see you again!”
“And Billy, how are you doing?  What have you been up to lately?”
“What’s up, Charlie?  Haven’t seen you since high school.  How long are you in town visiting Jeff?”
They chatted for a while, and then they said their good-byes. Shawn walked back into his house.    What an adventure he had been on!  He could not wait for another exciting time travel excursion.
